The Academy Award-winning classic film, “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” is loosely based on the book of the same name by Truman Capote. In the film, a vivacious, self-sabotaging New York socialite, Holly Golightly is perpetually running from herself, love and commitment while careening between her public and private personas on this voyage of self-discovery. The poster image of Hepburn as Holly with her waifish figure, posing with a cigarette holder is considered one of the iconic images of 20th century film.
